Frequently asked questions.

What sets MBA House apart in the MBA Preparation market? Firstly, we provide rapid and tailored feedback. Whether you’re a potential client or already in our program, whether it’s interview training or a question about the GMAT, simply contact us and receive prompt responses and guidance. Secondly, our structured test preparation covers both the GMAT Focus and New GRE, complemented by UNLIMITED private tutoring to enhance your skills efficiently. Lastly, we are the only GMAT test prep to offer a fully-integrated approach to MBA Admissions Consulting with an in-house team (not freelancers) to guide you through the entire admissions process.

The MBA Preparation market is full of generalists – any quick research on google will provide you with endless results of tutoring companies or freelancer websites which treat your preparation as a side hustle. Our instructors and consultants work exclusively for MBA House – they are not outsourced, and thus are committed towards your success. They participate in weekly team meetings to discuss particular candidates they are working on. MBA House has a proprietary methodology that does not depend on a single person, but rather the team as a whole.

Our pricing is by far the most competitive today. MBA House prices range from $2.4K to $5.6K depending on the number of schools the candidate decides to apply to. A typical MBA House candidate will receive approximately 80 hours of instruction divided between group classes and private tutoring, which means you’re paying around $30 an hour for a targeted test prep and not a tutor that is not specialized on the GMAT Focus or New GRE. Also, their applications are compiled with unlimited revisions by an admissions consultant and two editors, all of which have graduate degrees from Harvard University, Northwestern and NYU

Preparation time varies based on factors like study availability, target test dates, B-School goals, familiarity with standardized tests, English proficiency, and academic background (both high school and college). It’s unwise to compare yourself to online plans promising quick results. At MBA House, we offer a 6-month membership (renewable for another 6 months) to ensure ample time for achieving a competitive score. While quick tips may seem appealing, and render “likes and subscribes” online, the reality is different. On average, students at MBA House dedicate 3 to 4 months of study alongside work commitments.

MBA House bases its courses exclusively on the Official Guide questions for the GMAT Focus and New GRE. There is no better strategy to study for the test than to practice with questions that replicate what you will see on the exam. Our classes are formulated based on official materials, rather than having other materials dictate the teaching process. It is also possible that, during private tutoring sessions, your instructor recommends additional materials for practice based on their evaluation of your progress and areas that need improvement. Such orientation follows MBA House methodology to solve such exercises.

There are 3 advantages: first, your admissions consultant works not only with your career profile but also with your progress on the tests to determine the best mix of graduate schools to apply; second, there is a time advantage as the integrated prep helps you reach results faster; and third, there is an economical advantage because by performing all services under the same roof, we are able to offer the best prices available. In conclusion, we offer results in less time at less cost. We consider this combination a fundamental aspect of your success

At MBA House, we offer courses for GMAT Focus, New GRE, and Executive Assessment tests. If you’re aiming for a full-time MBA program and haven’t started preparation, we recommend focusing on the GMAT. It’s widely considered the preferred test for business schools, whereas the GRE is more suited for other graduate programs. While the GRE can be an option for candidates from non-traditional backgrounds, it may not be as competitive as the GMAT for MBA applications. However, if you’re already preparing for the GRE, we’ll support you in that path.

Absolutely! MBA House has a proven track record in securing scholarships for our candidates. That happens for 3 reasons: we help candidates achieve a competitive GMAT Focus score; Graduate schools acknowledge our work; and the personalized orientation of our admissions consulting focuses on obtaining scholarships. We have helped candidates obtain over $50 million in scholarships.
